We are a community of Teton County ladies who support the western way of life and appreciate the hard work it takes to raise cattle in this beautiful valley.

We love to see families cooking and eating together, women gathering to support each other, and finding ways to support our community.

Our History
In October of 1954 fourteen women organized the Jackson Hole CowBelles. Any woman who owned cattle or whose family derived all or part of their income from the cattle industry was invited to become a member. Shortly after the formation of this group, changes were felt in our valley. Our rural and agricultural economy shifted towards a tourist and recreation-oriented economy. In 1964 it was decided that any lady who desired to be a member was welcome -- No need for a cow in the backyard. What our purpose is now, as it was in the beginning, is to promote beef and ranching. Our projects have been many and varied. We hope to continue to share recipes, health information, and to inform the public on the many challenges and rewards of raising beef.

“The Jackson Hole Valley might raise fewer cattle than in years past, but our group has remained active for over 70 years.
